Anna first spotted Emily because of her pink pants. She turned to me and said, “You’ve gotta go look at the girl on the patio, her pants are awesome.” Upon return I had a huge smile on my face because the girl in the pink pants is my friend Emily! I work with her at Anthropologie, and yes, her style is fantastic.

We wanted to share some of our favorite go-to accessories with y’all, things that can always spruce up an outfit and give you a boost of fashion confidence.

First up, a good watch and a great bracelet (or two or three). Always layer to give an extra dimension – and look for pieces in antique malls, vintage shops, art shows, etc, to find something really unique!

I can’t get enough of this ban.do flower. It’s huge, fun, and can instantly add a conversation piece to your outfit. Those earrings I’m wearing are also a favorite – they were a gift from Anna to wear in her wedding. Vintage and fantastic.

This summer, I haven’t gone anywhere without my elephant purse. Hands down, best investment I’ve ever made (fashion-wise). Kate Spade, thank you for making something so dang cute.

These sparkly shoes Anna wore were the perfect accessory for her marigold outfit (which I loved). They’re sassy, feminine, and a bold statement all in one.

Because we love a man in suspenders, meet Kelly:

While waiting in line for Bánh Mì at Nammi on Magonolia Avenue in Fort Worth Friday night, we spotted Ryan and loved his casual style. I’m such a sucker for men in good glasses like Ryan’s.
