It’s time I finally introduce y’all to Taylor. On my most recent trip to Marfa, I met Taylor immediately upon checking into our hotel and proceeded to have a most memorable night together around town. There is nothing like traveling, meeting strangers, and great conversation. Taylor is a Dallas native, who came to Marfa by way of NYC – where he attends school.

Within 5 minutes of meeting Taylor I asked to take his picture – Taylor thanks for being such a good sport – because I was admittedly so drawn to his shoes. I had a pair so similar to them when I was young and it made me wax nostalgic over those good ol’ days. Nevermind his chic frames or tailored shirt. It was all about those shoes.

Taylor, thank you for being a great Marfa friend and model for Mosey!

As I get a little older, I’ve learned to really appreciate people that are comfortable in their own skin, genuinely kind, and altogether easy to be around and talk to. That’s exactly what Arthur was to us – a perfect gentleman with an easy breezy sense of humor, all bundled up into one perfectly tailored Brooks Brothers package. We had the honor of meeting Arthur a couple of weeks ago at the Brad Goreski book signing in Dallas. I’m pretty sure we could have chatted his ear off all night long. We discussed New Orleans, Mad Men, what’s it’s like traveling on a book tour, his background in fashion, and much more. What a delight, that Arthur Wayne.

There was so much eye candy at the Brad Goreski book signing that we’ve got more to share with you. (Plus a little more in the bag)! I love to wear a polka dot on polka dot ensemb, and David proved he does, too, in this super red, light blue, and blue outfit.

Originality. He said, “I put in the extra effort in order for my wardrobe to speak for myself. Every day and every outfit is a new opportunity to be a different “me” and I love it!”

Check out this cutie patootie. We met Jorge while waiting to interview Brad last week. We were so struck by his charming good looks and the way he pulled everything together. After the event, we had a little e-mail exchange with Jorge and his reply back to us about his outfit was so full of personality, great tips, and fun facts that I can’t help but share it with you below!

The Breakdown:
Carrera real prescription glasses (people always ask me if they are real- I find it kind of  funny). Got them in my last trip home. San Luis Potosi, Mexico. A “ganga” like we say in Spanish. (they were really affordable)
Zara Blazer. This Spanish brand is in the top 10 of my shopping list. I wish we had a bigger store here in Dallas. I purchased this one in Aguascalientes, Mexico, during my visit there last year and I love it. Fabric is great, and the color just gives me the opportunity to wear it almost with anything.
Original Penguin Polo Shirt. Online. I’ve become an online shopping addict because of them. I buy their stuff  at least once every two weeks. I can’t resist the vintage feeling of it. I love how I can match their items with other brands to create my own vintage/preppy/dapper style.
American Apparel
bow tie. Found it at Northpark. I usually go to the one on Mockingbird St. The store is bigger and the window display looks so much better.
H&M Conscious collection shorts. Thank God I asked my parents to send me abroad to study English, otherwise I wouldn’t have come across with H&M. I discover a massive H&M store in downtown Toronto, Canada in summer 2006, and I’ve been a faithful shopper since then. So you could imagine my excitement when I heard we were going to have not only one but several stores here in Dallas. Bought this one at the Galleria location last Saturday. (I knew I will need them soon)
H&M boat shoes. I got invited to the H&M VIP Opening party at the Galleria a couple weeks ago. So of course, I had take advantage of their 25% of the entire store. This Spring/Summer is all about color, so this are perfect to stay in trend.

“Dress to impress.” Whether I’m going to hit the gym, grocery shopping, dinner with friends or a fashion event: I must always look stylish before I leave home. “You never know who you might run into,” so I only have one chance to make a GREAT first impression.

No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you – this is the Brad Goreski in the flesh! We had the incredible opportunity to sit down with Mr. Pop of Color himself yesterday at the Brooks Brothers book signing event in Dallas.

Of course, we had to get some Mosey! shots of his outfit and the details first. His hot pink blazer was a show stopper, and he didn’t disappoint, donning his signature bow tie and glasses. Speaking of bow ties, we gave Brad the ultimate “Texas” bow tie – a bolo (see below) to remember us Mosey! girls by. We had a giggle over that.

After the gushing and gift giving, the interview began. I had about 8 minutes left to gab with the style icon that I’ve loved for years. We chatted about what it’s like being an entrepreneur (best advice: delegate, he says), Kate Spade (there’s lots of cute stuff coming out, he promises) and how to get men to be more into fashion. One of my favorite things he said while we talked was that people don’t dress up anymore – that as children we have this fantasy to want to dress up and have fun with clothing. He encourages everyone – men and women – to have fun with clothes and enjoy dressing up. It’s what’s fun about fashion.

I’m so happy to say that as we talked, I found him to be exactly as I hoped – genuine, down to earth, charming, and appreciative of his family and friends. Of course, the interview wouldn’t have been complete without mention of Gary, whom Anna and I both adore, as well. Oh, and that show-stopping performance of Les Mis in their backyard.

Brad signed all of our books (that’s our stack below) with a different personal sentiment, which I found to be very endearing, proving further that he has sincere appreciation for his fans and how far he has come. All in all, it was the perfect evening. One us Mosey! gals will surely never forget.

Noticing a trend on Mosey? We love men with beards. It’s true. And we also leave easy breezy casual wear. Nothin’ better, and Ricky is wearing it well. We also loved Ricky’s gorgeous tattoo, showcased below.

We stopped Nick because of his easy style and fantastic glasses. Y’all know we love a great pair of spectacles. I’ve also noticed that the guys we’re capturing on Mosey! have just the best shoes. I love a fella that loves a shoe. (Remember, Jake, John and Justin, Douglas, and Kelly)? Nick’s no exception.

Allow me, for just one moment, to gush over Ben’s beard. When asked how often he trims/maintains, he replied, “oh, not that often.” The man is blessed with dreamy facial hair. But beyond that beard is a style so relaxed, yet defined. If you’re ever over at Oddfellows in Oak Cliff, visit Ben at the bar.

We swear by a red lip here at Mosey! And goodness gracious, isn’t Kate just rocking this red lip? I love the looks of Kate and Jacob, two friends with unique rock and roll chic style. Kate, Stevie Nicks would be so proud of you.
